WISH

you blow it into the air and watch it scurry through

your dreams,
fantasies,
the HEAVEN
that you perceive...

Now, my dear
I have wishes
that will

Come True

and I'm gonna make them happen.

I saw the Psychedelic Furs in concert
at the Uptown theatre
back in the 80's
They were fantastic.

So subdued, yet energy driven
and I wore a blue Cub Scout shirt
that had these great patches from
some poor young boy
who worked so very hard
at earning all of them

Then his mom or dad
gave the shirt to GOODWILL
and I snatched it up
and wore it to this great concert

With safety pin in ear
and some funky pointed black boots
I had been in college for just a few years...

and had WISHES back then
as well

All of the superficial ones came true...

but what of those you never imagine to be
important in the long run??????

I had a SUPER day today...
and WISH a super one for you tomorrow...

Just blow on this
scatter it through the air...
wish and dream

the "FURS" are so much more than
PRETTY in PINK

(so am I)
