Remember the SWATCH watch?

They were soooo popular back in the 80's
and I must have had like 5 or 6 of them
I even had a SWATCH sweater

I have pictures of myself donning the items
and have a vivid memory of losing my favorite one
in the crazy summer waves of Lake Michigan

It falling off of my arm
as I bobbed in the water
hit by a rushing craze of splash
saving my swimsuit top and
waterproof camera

losing my very favorite
White SWATCH in the moment

But I was just "gifted" one
they are not available in many US places

the catalogs are absolutly pieces of art
and now I have a new one
NOT like the one I lost...
each year the models change

But this one is
cute
a silver and aqua blue...

and it truly is the thought that counts...
from someone that travels
and managed
to think of me!!!!

I guess they found the
TIME!!!
