Obstacle 2-Interpol

Today was Discovery Day at work
and I guess I made some discoveries of my own...

There is an "inner circle"
and I guess no matter how much I smile
and go out of my way....

I will never... in the near future... be
seen as I was
at my former place of employment

Where I worked before
(granted it took about 5 years or so)
I could walk in the door and my coworkers
would announce
"There she is...let's get this party started."
The lunchroom was a fun place to be....
I shared stories and people listened...
actually looked FORWARD to my weekend synopsis

I guess it was a wonderful feeling...
but now
there are Obstacles...
like OTHERS
with better stories to tell
and a bigger parties to start!

No matter how hard I try to break in
to the CIRCLE
I get quietly pushed out
and I try to figure out if it is
purposeful...
or just my IMAGINATION
