Dead Flowers-Rolling Stones

I am gonna walk again tonight....it just feels right!
As I walked through the yard on my way home from tutoring this afternoon...I smelled lilacs blooming
...I Love the smell of lilacs
but can not bring them in
"14" has allergies:(

But I will sniff them out on my walk!

This pic reminds me of the terrible breakup between me and my very first SERIOUS boyfriend...
He's the one that dumped me my first year in college...he was still just a senior in high school...
He broke my heart
and as my world changed from cute hippie girl
to Funky Punk Rocker
I sent him a dead rose petal
just one...
in an envelope
with a safety pin skewed through it's veins

And that was all...
He called me days later
I went over to his house
We spent one last "Time" together
in his room

He took my picture
and I left

He sent it to me later
with a dozen roses...

No note.
