A night out with"I"
is all that I needed
So we took the 14's down to the Rave
and enjoyed the evening
...A bit too much if someone would ask!

Two bands and 5 Vodka and Tonics later
Hot Hot Heat started up at 10:02
exactly 2 minutes after our bet wth the bartender
needed...for more free shots that is!
Even though we lost the bet...
the night was perfect
and one of my batentder friends from the LIfehouse Concert
indulged me with pleasant conversation
...he is so devastating...that I order twice as many drinks as I need...smoke more that I want (for the ashtray emptying)...and smile as much as I normally do when happy!
When I am out by the stage I turn around...
and notice that he is watching me instead of the customers at the bar.
When he speaks to me it's as though I am a harp
And every single string
Has just been plucked
At the exact same time...
He remembers my name, our last conversation, and my favorite bands!

On the flip side...A Very Interesting

talked to "I"...
We believe that he was just performing a Jeffery
Dahmer imitation...but it was still a bit unnerving. She kept giving me this "dirty" look whenever she was left alone with him...like she was stranded with the biggest geek in the club.

The "14's" had front row...and I would pop in and out as I heard my favorite tunes!

Mental NOte:...life is way too short...
