Dazzling Day if you are an Optimist!

But actually the headline for today could have been -TEACHER DIVES OFF THE FIRE ESCAPE-

Not a very good Public Policy class...
kicked one of my favorite kids out into the hall for not being in control of his own mouth...
Not one of my greatest moments there, but all of my other tricks had failed...and I had run out of patience, humor, and optimism.

It still EATS at me 10 hours later...so much that I am up in bed Blogging at 8 p.m. only after spending time sitting on the couch and EATING comfort food which falls under the category of Sheer Gluttony Designed to Provide Short Term Satisfaction...
(Mental Note: Must drop last 5 pounds gained since previous year's Mexico trip...truly believed to be entirely due to crappy school cafeteria lunch.)

I also blew up at my own "17" after he continued to dodge the summer Job Application Game...
How can I quit smoking when my life goes up in smoke itself???

And tomorrow I will force myself out of the car in the school parking lot like a death row inmate forces himself out of his cell to make that final trip to the electric chair!!

Enough said!
